- Your own factionAfter you found your first colony, name your faction and your colony and pick your color. Everyone on the map sees it.
- DLC checkThe launcher now checks that you have Royalty, Ideology and Biotech before you play, and tells you which one is missing and how to fix it.
What is Rimworld Wars
A multiplayer RimWorld mod where everyone plays on the same planet. You found a colony, grow it like normal RimWorld, and your neighbours are real players.
- One shared planetEvery player's colonies sit on one world map. You can see who's near you and what they hold.
- Alliances and pactsTeam up with other players in an alliance, or sign a pact with another side to keep the peace.
- Capture the mapControl points and colonies can be taken. Hold enough of the world and your side wins the war.
- Real-time raidsWhen someone attacks you, it happens live, and you fight it yourself.
- Safe while you're awayWhen you log off, your colony freezes. Nothing ages, starves or burns while you're gone.
How to join
- Download RimworldWars.exeSave it anywhere, like your desktop. It's the only file you need.
- Run itIt finds RimWorld through Steam and installs the mod into its own profile. Your normal game, saves and mod list stay as they are.
- Press PlayYou join with your Steam account, no extra sign-up. RimWorld starts and drops you straight into the shared world. Pick a spot on the planet, found your colony, then name your faction.
What you need
- RimWorld 1.6 on Steam
- Royalty, Ideology and Biotech (the launcher checks them for you)
- Steam running and signed in
- Windows 10 or 11
Windows may warn you about the file. The launcher isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen calls it unrecognised. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
